The Light Lab features in Arc Magazine #149 for our work on the UK Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka – “Come Build the Future.”
The Light Lab was proud to support the UK Pavilion’s immersive experience through the fabrication and supply of 137 bespoke illuminated acrylic cubes. ceiling-mounted across the Pix Lobby and interactive Pix Room to enhance the tech-driven, story-led environment.
As Arc Magazine highlights, the lighting concept by Beam Lighting Design Ltd uses the illuminated cubes as a unifying motif:
“Lighting was part of the main interactive display, with the recurring motif of illuminated cubes throughout each space, developed in close collaboration with The Light Lab, intended to act as a signature marker throughout the space, whilst also paying homage to the AV presentation’s main character, an anime-style character called PIX.” Jono Kenyon, Beam.
The project demonstrates our capability to deliver UK-fabricated lighting for global installations, supporting seamless on-site integration by the wider delivery team.
