The Light Lab Delivers Bespoke Glowline LED Façade Lighting for Westfield Černý Most, Prague.
The Light Lab has fabricated and supplied over 300 metres of bespoke Glowline LED linear luminaires for the exterior façade of the new Westfield Černý Most retail development in Prague, Czech Republic. Following the original lighting design by Match Lighting and installed by a local team, the project features individually sized linear fittings that create precise, striking lines of light across the building’s exterior.
Glowline is a low-profile linear LED system engineered to deliver a vivid, evenly illuminated line of light. Its adaptable design allows for straight, curved, or angular configurations, making it ideal for continuous architectural lighting on both interior and exterior surfaces. Key features include custom light outputs and colour temperatures, DALI-compatible controls, and seamless aesthetics with no visible fixings.
The installation combines straight and curved runs to form vertical bands and a continuous illuminated sweep around the building’s upper perimeter. High-output IP67-rated fittings, 3000K LEDs, polar frost and transparent end caps, and a bespoke rear keyhole extrusion were developed specifically to meet the project’s technical and visual requirements.
Delivered through The Light Lab’s coordinated global supply model, this project demonstrates how UK-manufactured, fully custom lighting solutions can be successfully integrated by on-site teams overseas, supporting complex international developments with precision, consistency, and reliability.
