The Light Lab were appointed to fabricate and install a bespoke Glowrail LED handrail system within Conductor, a new commercial building in Westfield defined by refined materials and architectural precision. Working to lighting design by 18 Degrees, the system delivers fully integrated illumination within the steel stair cores.
Fit-out contractor DBSJ led technical delivery in line with the original concept by Studio MULTI, including complex staircases. The brushed stainless steel handrails follow tight curves and directional changes, with custom brackets fixed into pre-formed steel apertures for a clean, uninterrupted finish. All metalwork and welding were completed in-house, giving full control over detailing, alignment, and finish quality.
