At The Light Lab, our in-house manufacturing capability allows us to maintain complete control over quality, performance, and project delivery. Operating from dedicated production facilities in South London and Shrewsbury, we fabricate, assemble, and integrate bespoke architectural lighting systems for projects throughout the UK and internationally.
Our South London production workshop is focused on lighting assembly, prototyping, product development, testing, and the integration of LED systems, controls, glass, and specialist materials. This enables us to develop and refine bespoke lighting solutions while ensuring every system is manufactured to meet project-specific requirements.
Supporting this capability is our dedicated metalwork fabrication workshop in Shrewsbury, where all stainless steel Glowrail illuminated handrail profiles are manufactured in-house. The facility also produces a wide range of bespoke architectural metalwork, including support structures, mounting systems, framework assemblies, and custom fabricated components for integrated lighting installations.
By combining lighting manufacture, metalwork fabrication, assembly, and testing within our own facilities, we can maintain consistent quality throughout the production process while ensuring seamless coordination between technical development, manufacturing, and installation.
