The Light Lab were commissioned by workplace design agency Trifle Creative, to fabricate a bespoke reception atrium feature for the stunning new Workspace commercial development ‘Mirror Works’, former home to a Victorian glassworks factory in the heart of Stratford.
Paying tribute to the area’s history and heritage, the building includes incredible floor to ceiling glass windows, impressive lighting sculpture and mirrored elements throughout the space.
The Light Lab contributed to the stylish & contemporary design with a unique pendant feature in the building’s reception area, made up of 110 mirror polished bronze aluminium ‘wings’ seemingly float around 32 suspended LED fittings, which were configured as uplights and downlights. The end result is a playful chandelier that provides functional lighting to the space it occupies whilst providing a reflective and decorative finish.
